SLTF disburses loans to additional 5,667 tertiary students

The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has disbursed loans to 5,667 more students. This is for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Now, a total of 31,659 students benefit this year. They come from 130 public and private institutions.

The SLTF management says this supports the John Mahama-led administration's goals. The aim is to provide educational opportunities for everyone, regardless of background.

The SLTF also promises timely fund disbursement. This helps students enroll in their chosen institutions without financial barriers.

Dr. Saajida Shiraz is the Chief Executive Officer of SLTF. She emphasized financial support under the ‘No-Fees-Stress’ policy in a Facebook post.

“Providing continuous support to students remains our top priority,” she stated. Dr. Shiraz noted that SLTF aims to boost national development through quality education.

She encouraged beneficiaries to take full advantage of this policy. It’s important that the government’s efforts are not wasted.
