SLTF disburses loans to over 5,600 more students

Dr. Saajida Shiraz is the Acting CEO of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF). She announced that the Fund has given loans to 5,667 more students for the 2024/2025 academic year.

This new support brings the total number of beneficiaries to 31,659 students. These students come from 130 public and private tertiary institutions nationwide. This shows the Fund's significant impact across the country.

On May 9, Dr. Shiraz shared a post on Facebook. She reaffirmed SLTF’s commitment to reducing financial pressures on students.

She stated, “As we work to implement the No-Fees-Stress policy, we remain committed to providing financial support to continuing students.”

The “No-Fees-Stress” policy is part of a government initiative. It aims to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent access to higher education.
