SSNIT has made positive strides in recent years – Osafo-Maafo

SSNIT Director-General Kofi Bosompem Osafo-Maafo has highlighted significant improvements in the trust’s management, focusing on three key pillars: sustainability, advanced technology adoption, and adequate benefits.

Speaking at the 2024 annual operations and benefits conference in Elmina, he emphasized the need for expanding coverage, enforcing compliance, and making prudent investments.

Osafo-Maafo also expressed concern over the public sector's debt to SSNIT but noted that technology has streamlined operations significantly.

The goal is to continuously enhance the scheme's effectiveness and ensure better benefits for all members.
