Sack Sammy Gyamfi campaign the most useless propaganda – Coach Opeele

Isaac Opeele Boateng, a Ghanaian coach, criticized the campaign to sack Sammy Gyamfi. He called it "the most useless propaganda."

Boateng advised President John Dramani Mahama not to dismiss Gyamfi. This comes amid controversy over a cash gift incident. A video showed Gyamfi giving large sums of money to Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess.

Boateng urged Mahama not to be swayed by this campaign. He stated that no political system is perfect and gifts are not crimes. In a post on X, he wrote that if Mahama gives in, it would show weak leadership.

Francis Xavier Sosu, the MP for Madina, defended Gyamfi as well. He posted on X that Gyamfi committed no crime and encouraged him to stay focused.

Sammy Gyamfi has publicly apologized for his actions. He expressed regret over the incident and clarified his intentions. He described the gift as part of his custom of helping those in need.

Gyamfi noted he thought the act was private and did not expect public scrutiny. Reports indicate that Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff, has summoned him regarding the video.

In summary, Boateng believes the campaign against Gyamfi is unfounded and harmful.
