Salaga MP to prioritise  girls' education in constituency

Alhaji Alhassan Mumuni is the MP for Salaga North. He represents the Savannah Region. He has reaffirmed his commitment to girls' education.

Mumuni describes himself as a feminist. He believes in breaking barriers for young girls. These barriers prevent them from accessing quality education.

In an interview with The Ghanaian Times, he shared his past efforts. During his previous term, he worked with another MP. Together, they established the KM Model Girls’ Junior High School.

This school aims to promote female education in the area. “We started with seven girls,” he said. “Today, enrollment has grown to over 100.”
