Sammy Gyamfi: NDC’s 1.6m-vote victory was the work of God

Sammy Gyamfi is the Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board. He is also the National Communications Officer for the NDC. Gyamfi expressed surprise at the party's victory in the 2024 elections.

In an interview with Bernard Avle on Channel One TV, he shared his thoughts. He said they were confident about winning but not by such a large margin. The NDC won by over 1.6 million votes, which exceeded expectations.

Gyamfi believes this victory was due to more than just political strategy. He feels it was a result of divine intervention. “This shows that the victory was not just human effort,” he stated.

He emphasized gratitude, saying, “We give thanks and praises to God.” The NDC’s win marked a significant political shift. Former President John Dramani Mahama returned to office after defeating the incumbent NPP.
