Sammy Gyamfi must go, just like Victoria Hammah – NPP communicator

Ellen Ama Ofosuaa Daaku, a member of the NPP Communications team, has called for Sammy Gyamfi's dismissal. She compared him to Victoria Hammah, who was fired by President Mahama.

Daaku recalled that Hamma was dismissed after a leaked recording surfaced. In it, she said she would quit politics if she had $1 million. Daaku stated that Mahama acted decisively then but is silent now about Gyamfi.

In an interview on Angel TV, Daaku expressed her concerns. She said, “Sammy Gyamfi has been giving out money to Agradaa.” She criticized the NDC for not addressing this issue while their grassroots are upset.

Daaku claimed Gyamfi has put Mahama in a difficult position. She noted that everyone can apologize when they make mistakes. However, she warned that Gyamfi could become a scapegoat soon.

She emphasized that Mahama recently launched the NDC's Code of Conduct. Daaku believes Gyamfi’s actions contradict this initiative and reflect poorly on Mahama.

“If Sammy Gyamfi is still in his position next week,” she said, “he will have me to contend with.”

Gyamfi faces scrutiny after a video showed him gifting large sums of money to Nana Agradaa. Agradaa later claimed she returned $800 given to her by Gyamfi.
