Sanitation Parliamentary Select C’ttee  tours assemblies  …to improve waste mgt in Accra

Members of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Sanitation and Water Resources are touring Accra. They aim to assess sanitation and waste management in the Greater Accra Region.

This three-day tour is part of government efforts. The goal is to reduce sanitation-related diseases and improve waste management.

The committee, led by Mr. John Oti Bless, visited two assemblies. They went to the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly and the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA). This visit helps them gather information on challenges in the sanitation sector.

Mr. Bless is also the Member of Parliament for Nkwanta North in the Oti Region. He stated that the government is committed to addressing sanitation issues. He emphasized that accurate data from assemblies is crucial for finding effective solutions.
