Second Deputy Speaker admits ownership of alleged hoarded government fertilizers

Joseph Yammin’s Operation Recover All Looted Assets has intercepted government-supplied fertilizers stored at the home of Adansi North District Chief Executive (DCE) Eric Kwaku Kusi.

Kusi confirmed the fertilizers were brought by Fomena MP and Second Deputy Speaker Andrew Asiamah for safekeeping ahead of the 2024 elections.

In a phone interview, Asiamah acknowledged ownership but declined further details.

The NDC’s Osman Nabali condemned the hoarding, accusing the outgoing administration of attempting to sabotage the incoming government by withholding vital resources meant for farmers.

Nabali called for swift investigation into this alleged misconduct, stressing the need to safeguard government resources.
