Personnel from the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) reportedly stormed the house of Reverend John Ntim Fordjour. He is the Member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency. This incident occurred at his residence in Spintex yesterday.
About 20 armed individuals arrived around 12:30 p.m. They intended to arrest him but were stopped by senior members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP). These officials learned about the operation in advance.
Reverend Ntim Fordjour has been in the news recently. He held a press conference on behalf of the Minority in Parliament two weeks ago. During this conference, he alleged that two Airmed aircraft landed at Kotoka International Airport between March 21 and 24. These aircraft were accused of involvement in money laundering and drug trafficking.
