Alhaji Seidu Agongo is the founder and chairman of Class Media Group (CMG). He recently spoke about his strained relationship with former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
In an interview on Metro TV’s Bottomline show, hosted by Kwasi Afriyie, Agongo shared his thoughts. He believes Ofori-Atta has a problem with him. Agongo explained that some people dislike others based on their actions or speech.
He discussed how success can make some uncomfortable. People often feel irritated when they see others succeed, especially in business. Agongo noted that some struggle to accept others' rise to prominence.
Despite this, he remains confident in his journey. He emphasized that success should not be judged by others. “Some people do not like to see others grow,” he said.
Agongo added that God has a purpose for everyone. He highlighted the power of God in shaping lives. To illustrate this, he mentioned Barack Obama’s rise as the first African-American president.
Agongo stated, “If God could use Barack Obama to become President, who are you to say Seidu Agongo cannot own a bank?” His comments follow the collapse of Heritage Bank, which he founded.
The bank's closure has led to discussions about its downfall and stakeholders' roles. Despite these challenges, Agongo remains focused on his belief in God's ability to elevate anyone. He is determined not to be discouraged by those who disagree with him.
