Sekondi MP: Use Minority Leader to summon Ntim Fordjour

Blay Nyameke Armah, the MP for Sekondi, supports calls for proper procedures. He believes the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) should summon Rev. John Ntim Fordjour through Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin.

This follows a failed attempt by the NIB to arrest Fordjour on April 9. The Assin South MP is also the Ranking Member on the Defence and Interior Committee.

In an interview with Channel One Newsroom, Armah emphasized the importance of following correct protocols. He stated that as an MP, Fordjour deserves to be treated with respect.

Armah suggested that the NIB should invite Fordjour through his party leader first. He said this approach would allow for cooperation before considering arrest.

“If that fails, then force may be necessary,” he added.
