"Set up an office for ethics at the Presidency" - Mussa Dankwah tells President Mahama

Mussa Dankwah, Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, is calling on President John Dramani Mahama to set up an Office of Ethics at the presidency.

He believes this office would help enforce the new Code of Ethics for government appointees, particularly in light of recent concerns over the use of a private jet linked to the President’s brother.

Dankwah, in a Facebook post, urged Mahama to proactively address ethical issues and not wait for complaints to be sent to CHRAJ.

This follows public scrutiny from IMANI Africa’s Franklin Cudjoe, who raised questions about whether the cost of the jet travel should be considered a gift to the state.

Dankwah argues that Ghanaians deserve clarity on such matters, emphasizing the need for transparency in government dealings.
