Several Students Heavily Injured in T.I Amass Stampede As Sch Head Covers Up

An incident at T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School in Kumasi has left several students injured. The injuries followed a stampede allegedly caused by a housemistress's reckless actions.

Reports suggest the acting school administration is trying to cover up the incident. Insiders describe a complete breakdown of discipline and order at the school.

The chaos began when a housemistress locked students in their dormitory for hours. When the doors opened, students rushed out, panicking for air and space. This led to violent collisions among them.

Eyewitnesses reported multiple injuries, including broken arms and legs. Some students fainted, while others bled from their noses and mouths. One student may lose their sight due to severe injuries.

Despite the seriousness of the situation, insiders claim the acting administration downplayed it. Instead of sending severely injured students to a hospital, they were kept in the sick bay without proper care.

Sources say students were warned not to contact parents or share details about the incident. “They said we would be punished if we told anyone,” one anonymous student stated.

Currently, three students are in critical condition but their families have not been informed. This lack of communication is seen as an effort to avoid scrutiny during the search for a new headmaster.

Parents, education officials, and the public are demanding urgent investigations into this matter. Civil society advocates are also calling for immediate action from the Ghana Education Service to ensure accountability and proper care for affected students.
