Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is recovering in the United Kingdom.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State for Government Communications, confirmed her health status.

He stated, “She is currently in good health and taking a short rest.”

Doctors advised her to take this break. She should return to her duties soon.

The Vice President fell ill after official duties on March 28.

She was first treated at the University of Ghana Medical Centre. Later, she was flown abroad for further care.

Her absence led to speculation and false claims on social media.
