Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu, spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, has called on Muslims to embody the virtues of Ramadan beyond the holy month.
Speaking at a grand iftar organized by the Ghana School of Law Muslim Students Association, he emphasized that Ramadan is more than abstaining from food and water—it fosters spiritual growth through God-consciousness.
He highlighted honesty, sacrifice, compassion, and peace as crucial values that should shape daily life and national development.
Stressing the significance of Zakat al-Fitr, he urged Muslims to support the needy, ensuring no one is left without.
Sheikh Aremeyaw also linked these virtues to tackling corruption and promoting harmony, advocating for a year-round commitment to ethical living.
