Shocking: Ken Agyapong plays the tribal card for NPP defeat in 2024

Kennedy Agyapong, a hopeful for the NPP flagbearer position, has criticized Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

At a meeting in Kumasi with legal professionals, he sought their support for his campaign.

Agyapong argued that the NPP should not keep Bawumia as a candidate. He claimed the party lost the election due to Bawumia's Islamic faith.

He stated that many Christian leaders opposed Bawumia's candidacy. According to Agyapong, these leaders campaigned against him because of his religion.

He said they encouraged their followers not to vote for a Muslim candidate.
