Side chick saga: Deborah Adablah breaks silence on bench warrant over contempt

A former National Service personnel is in a legal battle with Mr. Ernest Kwasi Nimako. He is the former CFO of First Atlantic Bank. She has spoken out after a bench warrant was issued for her arrest. This warrant is due to alleged contempt of court.

The contempt charge relates to her recent public comments about the case. She confirmed she knows about the bench warrant. She is in contact with her legal team and plans to appear in court soon.

In a viral video, Deborah Seyram Adablah appealed to the Ghana Police Service. She asked for humane treatment if they act on the warrant. Deborah expressed worries about possible mistreatment during her arrest.

She warned that any abuse, physical or verbal, would lead to complaints against officers. “Ghana Police Service, my name is Deborah… I’m sorry, I beg you people,” she said in the video.

Deborah stated she will cooperate with legal processes and is not a criminal. Her message was shared widely on social media amid renewed interest in her case. The ongoing legal dispute involves claims of breach of promise and financial support from her relationship with the banker.
