The Accra High Court has sentenced Deborah Seyram Adablah to 45 days in jail. She is a former NSS worker who sued her alleged 'sugar daddy.' The case involves Ernest Kwesi Nimako, a former executive at First Atlantic Bank.
Adablah gained attention in 2023 after suing Nimako for breach of promise. Recently, she was found guilty of contempt due to social media outbursts. Reports say she defied a court order and insulted the presiding judge.
Justice John Bosco Nabarese was accused by Adablah of bias and unprofessional conduct. In videos shared online, she criticized the court's handling of her case. She questioned the integrity of Ghana’s judiciary and warned the judge to be fair.
Her comments were played in open court. They influenced the judge's decision to issue a bench warrant for her arrest.
