Softcare celebrates Mother’s Day with donation to Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital

Softcare donated essential maternity items to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital on May 17. This donation was part of their annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and celebrated Mother’s Day.

The items included baby diapers, wipes, sanitary pads, and washing powder. These donations aim to support new mothers and ease postnatal care.

This initiative shows Softcare’s commitment to maternal health and community welfare.

Madam Abigail, Senior Midwifery Officer at the hospital, received the donation. She expressed gratitude for this timely support.

“This donation will bring much-needed relief to our mothers and staff,” she said. “We are truly grateful to Softcare for their continued kindness.”

Mr. Jasper Archer, Commercial Director of Softcare, led the team during the presentation. He delivered brief remarks about the importance of Mother’s Day.

“Mother’s Day is a special opportunity to honor mothers,” he stated. “Through our CSR initiatives, Softcare supports maternal care in our communities.”

This donation is part of Softcare’s broader CSR agenda. It aims to improve health and hygiene across Ghanaian communities.

This gesture highlights Mother’s Day's significance and reinforces Softcare’s role as a responsible corporate citizen.
