Speaker approves NIB’s request to release two MPs for investigation

The Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament has approved the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to engage two MPs.

The MPs involved are Mustapha Yussif and Kwame Asare Obeng, known as A Plus.

They are expected to meet with NIB officials on Monday, April 7, 2025.

The meeting will start at 10:00 AM in the Sir Emmanuel Charles Quist Conference Room.

This decision follows a formal request from the NIB for their participation in the investigation.

Mr. Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, Clerk to Parliament, signed the approval letter.
