Speaker inaugurates Parliamentary Press Corps executives - Ghanaian Times

On Friday in Accra, the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, inaugurated a new executive for the Parliamentary Press Corps (PPC).

This seven-member team will serve a three-year term.

The executives include Simon Agianab as Dean and Stephen Odoi-Larbi as Vice Dean.

Kwaku Sakyi-Danso is the General Secretary, while Ibrahim Alhassan serves as Organising Secretary.

Other members are Francis Ekow Annan (Deputy Secretary), Deborah Dzivenu (Treasurer), and Emmanuel Kwaku Ansah (ex-officio member).

The Speaker highlighted the media's crucial role in parliamentary democracy.

He noted that Parliament's effectiveness relies on accurate media reporting.
