Special Prosecutor, IGP commit to closer collaboration in anti-corruption fight

The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) and the Ghana Police Service are strengthening their partnership. They aim to fight corruption and related offences across the country.

On May 8, Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng visited the new Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno. This visit aimed to enhance collaboration between the two agencies.

During their meeting, both leaders committed to joint operations. They emphasized improved coordination, intelligence sharing, and operational synergy.

They agreed that closer cooperation is vital for better enforcement. It will also promote transparency and ensure accountability in governance.

Senior officials from both institutions attended this important engagement. It marks a significant step toward uniting against corruption in Ghana.
