Stakeholders review action plan on women, peace , security

A stakeholder workshop was held on Tuesday in Accra.

The focus was on the second edition of the Ghana National Action Plan (GHANAP 2) for Women, Peace, and Security.

The Women, Youth, Peace and Security Institute (WYPSI) organized the event.

Participants included government agencies, civil society organizations, and development partners.

They assessed progress made and proposed ways to move forward.

Mrs. Vera Karikari Bediako from the Ministry of Gender spoke at the workshop.

She announced that a Technical Working Group has been established.

This group will lead the implementation and monitoring of the action plan.

She also mentioned that the group received training on reporting obligations.

This training focused on the African Union Continental Results Framework.
