President-elect John Dramani Mahama has cautioned potential appointees in his incoming administration to be prepared for hard work and dedication.
Addressing the Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, and his delegation on December 12, Mahama emphasized that Ghanaians demand effective and accountable leadership, leaving no room for complacency.
“Ghanaians are patient but will punish unproductive leaders. It won’t be business as usual,” he warned.
Mahama urged aspirants unwilling to commit fully to consider remaining in the private sector, highlighting the need for sacrifice and diligence in rebuilding the nation.
Mahama, declared winner of the 2024 elections by the Electoral Commission on December 9, reiterated his commitment to delivering on the expectations of the people and fostering a results-driven administration.
