Stop calling me a fugitive – Ofori-Atta drags OSP to court again

Former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has taken legal action against the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP). He aims to prevent them from labeling him a "wanted person" or "fugitive from justice."

Ofori-Atta's legal team claims the OSP violated due process. They say the agency shared his details on social media, despite previous assurances.

He demands that his name be removed from the wanted list immediately. He also wants a court order to stop any reinstatement without judicial approval.

Additionally, he seeks an injunction against further statements calling him a fugitive. His lawyers argue these actions violate his rights under the 1992 Constitution.

The case is scheduled for hearing in April. This marks a significant standoff as Ofori-Atta works to clear his name.
