Stop instigating assembly members against President’s  nominees —Minister cautions

The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ms. Linda Ocloo, has issued a warning.

She urged Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executive (MMDCE) aspirants to stop instigating assembly members.

These aspirants should not encourage others to vote against the President’s nominees.

Ms. Ocloo stated that rejecting the President's nominee will not help them.

She emphasized that it is a mistake to think they will be appointed if they do so.

“Do not disgrace the president by urging votes against his nominees,” she said.

She warned that those who do not support the nominee will face consequences.

Even if re-appointments are needed, they may look beyond the shortlisted candidates.
