Walewale MP, Hon. Abdul Kabiru Tiah Mahama, has rejected attempts to blame the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) electoral defeat on a single individual, stressing that responsibility must be shared.
Speaking on Good Morning Ghana, he defended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, noting that the former flagbearer campaigned extensively across all 276 constituencies.
He argued that any claims about the cause of the loss should be based on scientific analysis rather than personal blame.
Hon. Mahama emphasized the need for a thorough review to understand the real factors behind the defeat.
He further stated that Dr. Bawumia remains dedicated to the party and will only make future political decisions after careful assessment of the situation.
