Stop the nonsense and blind loyalty – Kofi Oduro blast NPP’s sympathizers

Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, the Founder of Alabaster International Ministries, criticized NPP supporters. They gathered at EOCO's head office after Chairman Wontumi's arrest.

He urged them to stop their blind loyalty and nonsense. Oduro questioned what they knew about Wontumi’s actions before his arrest.

Speaking to his congregation on Sunday, he said, “Where is the rule of law? If I am arrested, will you storm the police station? Do you know what I have done?”

He continued, “This foolish mindset must disappear. Why are you blindly loyal? Is causing commotion how you want to build your nation?”

His comments followed a gathering of NPP officials at EOCO after Wontumi's arrest. He was taken into custody after visiting the CID headquarters on May 27.

Wontumi received bail of GH₵50 million with two sureties on May 28. However, his legal team struggled to meet all conditions for his release.

They revealed that a new legal application delayed Wontumi’s release. Appiah-Kubi stated, “My client is not going home tonight due to this challenge.”

He added that they would address the issue on Monday for a fresh start.
