About 156 pupils at Dada-banyarko D/A Primary School face uncertainty. Their school building collapsed due to heavy rains on Sunday.
For now, classes are being held under trees. The Headmistress, Ms. Monica Baffah, confirmed this situation. She spoke to The Ghanaian Times by phone yesterday.
Ms. Baffah appealed for urgent help from the Sene West District Assembly and Ghana Education Service. She warned that the situation could worsen if not addressed quickly.
The current school structure is a shed built by the community in November 2019. This shed was later absorbed by the government for use as a school.
