The Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa, Sulemana Braimah, has accused the Akufo-Addo administration of failing to ensure the effective management of the National Service Scheme (NSS).
Speaking on PM Express, he alleged that corruption and inefficiencies plagued the scheme, with projects abandoned and service personnel shortchanged.
He highlighted the controversial "marketplace initiative," which allegedly led to unauthorized deductions from allowances.
Braimah also questioned whether the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) was manipulated to enable financial irregularities.
He called for urgent investigations and leadership commitment to reform the scheme.
