Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has called on Parliament to back the 2025 budget, emphasizing its role in driving economic transformation.
Speaking at the 2025 Post-Budget Workshop, he highlighted key initiatives, including the Big Push infrastructure plan, the Ghana Gold Board for boosting forex reserves, and the 24-hour economy policy to create jobs.
Dr. Forson stressed that the proposed GH¢10 billion investment will spur growth, urging lawmakers to approve the budget swiftly. He assured that the measures outlined will stabilize Ghana’s economy and improve livelihoods.
As parliamentary debates unfold, the Finance Minister remains confident that bipartisan support will ensure the successful implementation of these policies.
