Suzy Pinamang’s surgery scheduled for June 2025 – Ablakwa discloses after visit

Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa announced that Suzy Pinamang's surgery is scheduled for next month.

Suzzy lost her sight after a gun accidentally went off in class. The gun belonged to a colleague at Adventist Senior High School.

Businessman Ibrahim Mahama has agreed to fund her surgery abroad. After tests in Ghana, he stepped in to help.

Ablakwa shared the news on social media after visiting Suzy in the UK. He met her after representing President Mahama at the Oxford Africa Conference.

In his post, he wrote about Suzy’s situation. Doctors have conducted many tests following her injuries and planned her surgery for next month.

He expressed happiness that Suzy is in good spirits and doing well. He also praised the staff at the Ghana High Commission in London for their care.

Ablakwa thanked Ibrahim Mahama for his kindness and support. He urged everyone to keep praying for Suzy, saying, "God won’t let us down."
