Swesco alumni gather for thanksgiving and launch of 66th Anniversary

Swedru Secondary School (Swesco) celebrated its 66th Anniversary launch during the Annual Thanksgiving and Remembrance Service, marked by gratitude, reflection, and a renewed commitment to the school’s progress.

Alumni, clad in Swesco cloth, joyfully sang the school anthem and reflected on cherished memories. Global President Samuel Attah-Mensah urged alumni to stay connected and support projects like expanding the dining hall and building teacher bungalows.

Piesie Bishop Korankye Mensah inspired attendees with a message of positivity in adversity, while social media personalities Jeff Arhin and Vivian Ocran were honored for their honesty in returning lost money.

Headmistress Piesie Golda Andam expressed excitement for the upcoming 66th Speech and Prize Giving Day, as the event ended with a remembrance of departed alumni and the official anniversary launch.
