The General Transport, Petroleum, and Chemical Workers Union (GTPCWU) has urged the government to investigate alleged misconduct by former board members of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR).
National Chairman Bernard Owusu accused three ex-board members—Mr. Apenteng, Sapara Grant, and Ato Morrison—of approving dubious deals and facilitating irregularities.
He alleged that the board engaged Decimal Capital in a partnership with VITOL, which denied involvement, and formed questionable entities like Torentco Asset Management Limited and Tema Energy and Processing Limited (TEPL).
Workers were reportedly compelled to create a charity trust linked to TEPL without proper authorization.
Mr. Owusu called for a review of staff promotions and reinstatement of removed managers, urging accountability and police action against individuals who damaged state property in the energy sector.
