Osman Ayariga, the National Coordinator for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has encouraged Ghanaian youth to seize the opportunities offered by the National Apprenticeship Programme. He emphasized that this initiative is designed to equip young people with practical skills and training, preparing them for successful careers in various trades. Ayariga believes that engaging in apprenticeship programs can significantly enhance employability and self-sufficiency among young individuals.
During a recent event, he highlighted the importance of skill acquisition as a means to combat unemployment in the country. Ayariga stressed that by participating in these programs, youth can gain relevant experience and knowledge, which are essential for thriving in today's competitive job market. He urged young people to actively seek out apprenticeship opportunities and take advantage of the resources available through YEA.
