Tamale /Yendi Water Crisis: I’ll quench your thirst - Pres assures Yaa-Naa, Tamale residents - Ghanaian Times

President John Dramani Mahama has promised to address the water crisis in Tamale.

He assured residents that his government would take action soon.

Two key water projects are planned for the area.

These projects include a new water treatment plant in Yapei.

The second project is the Yendi Water Supply Project.

President Mahama made these statements during two events on Saturday.

First, he visited the overlord of the Dagbon Kingdom, Ndan Yaa-Naa, Naa Abukari II at Gbewaa Palace in Yendi.

Later, he attended a ‘Thank You’ durbar in Tamale.
