Technical glitch disrupts gas supply from Jubilee FPSO to Atuabo Plant - GNPC

The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has announced a gas supply disruption. This affects the Jubilee Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel. The issue occurred on Saturday, May 10, 2025.

According to a statement from May 11, the problem happened around 4:30 PM. It involved a fault that briefly impacted gas export operations.

GNPC is working to identify the root cause of the issue. They aim to implement corrective measures quickly and safely.

"The operator is making every effort to restore gas supply," the statement said.

Technical teams are collaborating to resolve the problem.

Officials assured the public that oil production on the Jubilee FPSO is unaffected. It continues without interruption.

“We wish to assure the public that oil production remains steady,” they added.

Management thanked the public for their patience during this technical resolution.
