Tetteh Chaie appointed Deputy CEO of Public Procurement Authority

Theophilus Tetteh Chaie has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Public Procurement Authority (PPA). His main task is to support the Authority’s strategic functions. He will also ensure compliance with procurement regulations in the public sector.

Currently, Tetteh Chaie serves as the NDC Greater Accra Secretary. In his new role, he will assist the Chief Executive Officer. He will contribute to policy formulation and implementation in procurement.

Tetteh Chaie will lead initiatives to develop procurement rules and guidelines. These efforts aim to enhance efficiency and compliance in public procurement.

He is expected to work closely with key government entities. This includes Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs). He will provide technical advice and ensure alignment with national procurement laws.

His appointment comes at a crucial time for the government. It aims to strengthen fiscal discipline and improve procurement credibility.
