Thaddeus Sory accuses Godfred Dame of hypocrisy

Legal practitioner Thaddeus Sory has criticized former Attorney-General Godfred Dame. He called him a "cry baby" and accused him of hypocrisy.

In a Facebook post titled "AND STILL CRYING INCONGRUOUSLY – PART ONE," Sory responded to Dame's criticisms. These included claims of obsession and unethical behavior.

Sory denies these allegations. He says his actions are driven by two main reasons:

1. Signs that the individual may learn and change.
2. A commitment to not tolerate spoiled individuals.

He also pointed out contradictions in Dame's arguments. For example, Dame admitted to representing clients from the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Yet, he claimed that a petition against the Chief Justice was backed by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Sory calls this "incongruous logic."

Furthermore, Sory accuses Dame of hypocrisy. He noted that Dame publicly criticized judicial decisions but now complains about similar criticisms directed at him.

Sory questions how a lawyer can denigrate judges while seeking to represent clients in court.

The post ends with Sory expressing regret for addressing this matter publicly.

"Once again, friends and family, sorry I had to do this," he wrote. "Please forgive me. It is just me being silly, but not in a hard way."
