Vice President Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang thanked Ghanaians for their support.
She expressed her gratitude after news of her hospitalization.
In a press statement on Monday, March 31, she said, "Thank you to everyone for the kind sentiments and well wishes this weekend."
The statement also extended best wishes to the Muslim community.
As they celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, she said, "I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families."
She acknowledged their dedication and contributions to the nation.
"May this celebration bring you joy, peace, and renewed strength," she added.
Over the weekend, the presidency announced her hospitalization.
She received treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).
This followed a sudden illness on Friday, March 28, 2025.
The statement was signed by Felix Kwakye Ofosu. He is a Member of Parliament and Minister for Government Communications.
Medical experts advised that she seek further treatment abroad for full recovery.
