A special Thanksgiving Service held at the Immanuel Methodist Society in Accra celebrated Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, Ghana’s incoming first female Vice President.

The Vice President-elect expressed gratitude to God and President-elect John Mahama for their guidance and trust during her journey.

Rt. Rev. Emmanuel Borlabi Bortey highlighted the Methodist Church’s historic contributions to Ghana’s political leadership, urging the new administration to uphold Christian values.

The service, coinciding with the Church’s Nine Lessons and Carols, brought together family, NDC dignitaries, and well-wishers in a moment of reflection and hope for transformative leadership under the NDC government.
