The Chat: Scripts dried up, so I created my own – Jefferey Nortey

Actor and content creator Jefferey Nortey recently shared his journey in entertainment. He spoke on The Chat with Ekow Koomson on Channel One TV. This interview took place on Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Nortey emphasized the importance of persistence and passion in his career. He noted that there was no single breakthrough moment for him. Instead, he consistently pursued his childhood dream of acting.

"I have wanted to act since I was a child," he said. "I have featured in many movies, though they may not be popular."

When acting opportunities slowed down, Nortey took control of his career. "At one point, the scripts were not coming," he explained. So, he decided to create short scenes for a movie.

"Those who watched it would say, 'Oh, I loved your skits,'" he added. His efforts led to increased visibility and opened new doors for him.
