Former Dome Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has taken a strong stand against the leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), declaring that no one can silence her or push her out of the party.

“Nobody brought me to the party, and the party is not for anyone. We are all here to build it, so nobody can force me out or keep me quiet,” she asserted.

Her remarks follow criticisms from the party’s General Secretary, whom she accused of succumbing to external influences. Safo urged him to pay attention to party members' concerns rather than being manipulated for political agendas.

She also decried what she described as a campaign to tarnish her reputation, vowing to set the record straight.

“There has been character assassination against me. I have been defamed by my own party,” she lamented. “But I will ensure the truth is known.”

Reaffirming her commitment to free speech, she insisted that no one should be silenced for expressing their views.
