Richard Ahiagbah is the Communications Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He reminded the party to unite for victory in the 2028 elections.
Ahiagbah believes that political persecution by John Dramani Mahama's government should motivate everyone. He stated that the NPP faces undemocratic treatment today. However, if they work together, they can create a better government tomorrow.
This new government would protect and promote Ghanaians' rights and liberties. Ahiagbah shared his thoughts on social media.
He said, “Our democracy is in a state of flux. The government's harassment of citizens does not create jobs for youth. It won't help fight galamsey or implement a 24-hour economy.”
He urged the NDC government to improve conditions for Ghanaians. He criticized their use of state security against political opponents. “We are a democracy, and we cannot be silenced,” he added.
Ahiagbah concluded by emphasizing that the NPP must work together for a better future. “Our job is cut out… Kukrudu…” he stated.
