Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo has urged Ghana’s youth to embrace integrity, selflessness, and a strong sense of service to the nation.

Speaking at the 2024 Enhanced Chief Justice’s Mentoring Programme in Accra, she encouraged young people to commit to lawful behavior and actively contribute to national development.

The programme, themed “I Pledge Myself to the Service of Ghana,” brought together students from six schools with Justice Clubs, kayayei, and UN Youth members. It aims to deepen understanding of law, justice, and civic responsibility.

Chief Justice Torkornoo emphasized the power of youth involvement in clubs and societies to foster leadership, ethical values, and resilience.

She announced plans to expand Justice Clubs nationwide in 2025, stressing collective effort as key to Ghana’s progress.
