There’s enough evidence to back Ntim Fordjour’s claim – Haruna Mohammed

Haruna Mohammed is the Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He stated there is enough evidence to support claims by Rev. John Ntim Fordjour. The Assin South MP alleged that two aircraft were involved in drug trafficking and money laundering in Ghana.

This controversy began on April 9, 2025. Officials from the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) tried to arrest Rev. Fordjour at his home in Spintex, Accra. This attempt followed his public allegations about suspicious aircraft landing at Kotoka International Airport.

Members of the Minority in Parliament and NPP executives intervened quickly. They argued that NIB operatives did not have an arrest warrant and did not follow due process.

On April 12, Haruna Mohammed spoke on The Big Issue with Selorm Adonoo. He supported Rev. Fordjour’s claims and confirmed that important details had been shared with Minority leadership.

He mentioned, “I know he [Rev. Ntim Fordjour] had meetings with the Minority.” He added that Rev. Fordjour provided them with adequate information during these meetings.

Haruna Mohammed assured viewers that there is enough evidence to back Rev. Fordjour's claims. He said, “At the right time, when conditions are settled, Rev. Ntim Fordjour will provide more information.”
