There can be no excuses – Barker-Vormawor tells Mahama

Oliver Barker-Vormawor, convener of the Fix the Country Movement, has told President-elect John Dramani Mahama that with his overwhelming mandate in the 2024 elections, there can be no excuses for failing to deliver.

He urged Mahama to prioritize constitutional reforms, probity, and accountability, stressing that this is a unique opportunity to build a legacy of progress.

Meanwhile, Mahama, in a meeting with UN Resident Coordinator Charles Abani, discussed the need to address debt repayments and food security challenges, and expressed a commitment to strengthening Ghana's relationship with the UN for national development.
