Brother Daniel Owusu Asiamah, the lead preacher at the Takoradi Church of Christ, made a bold statement. He claimed that no man of God in Ghana can heal the blind.
He believes that such miracles from the Bible are no longer possible. According to him, those who claim otherwise are being deceptive. He accused these men of God of turning to juju, black magic, and occultism.
Asiamah challenged any Ghanaian pastor who disagrees with him. He asked them to heal a 30-year-old blind person. In a video, he stated, “No pastor can do that; they are liars.”
He explained that these miracles have passed and some refuse to accept this truth. This refusal leads them to use deceptive practices instead.
He emphasized that healing in Jesus' name is a thing of the past. He urged pastors not to insult him but to prove him wrong by performing such miracles.
Many Ghanaians reacted to his comments online. One user offered to sponsor his trip to Nigeria for live miracles. Another questioned if he knew Prophet Emmanuel Kofi Mensah from Action Fire Charismatic Chapel.
A third user encouraged Asiamah to recognize that miracles still happen today. They suggested listening to Prophet Prince Atsu Manasseh for more insight.
The debate continues about the existence of modern-day miracles in Ghana's religious community.
