Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has unveiled plans for the National Vultures Award, an initiative aimed at exposing and holding corrupt officials accountable while promoting a culture of integrity and transparency in governance.
Speaking before Parliament was adjourned indefinitely, Bagbin stressed the need to promote integrity alongside accountability.
He revealed plans for a National Integrity Award to honour ethical leaders while introducing the Vulture Award to expose individuals with the lowest integrity.
Calling the initiative a "transformative" move, Bagbin emphasized that holding corrupt figures accountable is essential for fostering transparency and good governance in Ghana.
